The Alliance for Round, Traditional, and Square Dance (ARTS-Dance) has approved a new logo, slogan, and slogo. Many square dance organizations and club are using the new image to promote square dancing. We encourage all dancers to join in the support of this new image.

We are glad you are visiting our site. We would like you to join us at one of our dances, if you dance the CALLERLAB Advanced Program.

We dance the CALLERLAB Advanced program on Wednesday nights. Please take a look at our schedule for a dance for you.


We are home from our 2018 RV trip. We visited Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Illinois before we headed home. We always enjoy traveling through the FANTASTIC country of ours!  

This year we traveled over 7,000 miles. We are not sure how many more trips we have, but we do look forward to our adventures on the Road. 


We have posted  a summary report of our 2018 RV trip.

Jerry calls the CALLERLAB Advanced Dance Program. He has decided to stop traveling to call for clubs outside our local area. He has also decided to stop doing "PARTY NIGHTS." Jerry has provided caller training and discussions with numerous caller or dancer groups for nearly 40 years. 

Jerry was the CALLERLAB Executive Director for over ten years and has retired from the  CALLERLAB B Board Of Governors. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Traditional, Round, and Square Dancing (ARTS).

Jerry & Del live in Rockldege, Florida on the Central East Coast near the Kennedy Space Cnter approximatley 50 miles east of Orlando.

Jerry has been calling since 1978 and has been a Member of CALLERLAB, The International Association of Square Dance Callers since 1983. Jerry served as the CALLERLAB Executive Director from June 1999 thru June 2009. He stepped down from the position of Executive Director in 2009 as part of the trasition plan to move the office from Cocoa, Fl to Tpoeka, KS.

He continues to serve as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Round, Traditional, and Square - Dance (ARTS).

In April 2012 Jerry was sworn in as a Member of the CALLERLAB Board Of Governors. He was re-elected to a second term on the Board to begin in April 2015. He has decied to leave the Board at the end of his current term in April 2018.

 OUR  LAST SESSION FOR OUR 2014/2015 SEASON  -  C-1 WORKSHOP/DANCE
WILL BE FRIDAY, MARCH 13, 2015


WE PLAN TO START AGAIN IN THE FALL OF 2015
IN THE WICKHAM CENTER - WICKHAM PARK, MELBOUYRNE  AT 10:00 AM


Jerry joined the CALLERLAB Home Office Staff in late 1994. He moved into the position of Executive Director in June 1999 after having served as Assistant Executive Director for nearly five years. He served as the Executive Director for 10 years, stepping down in June 2009 when the Home Office moved to Topeka, KS. We have enjoyed our service to CALLERLAB during this time and have had some GREAT times and met hundreds of very nice people.

We have returned from our 2014 RV trip. We visited Jerry's son and granddaughter in Texas, Jerry's brother in New Mexico. We also attended 2014 CALLERLAB convention in Reno, NV. After the convention we visited Jerry's son in Portland, OR and then headed home. On the way home we visited Jerry's sister & her husband in Wyoming, Jerry's brother and his wife in Nebraska, and Del's Brother in Illinois. We attended the National Square Dance Convention in Little Rock, AR. 

This was our longest RV trip yet.

We have started plann ing our 2015 RV trip. We will be attending teh 2015 CALLWERLAB Convention in Springfield, MO. We also have plans to visit Upper Michigan.

2014 CALLERLAB CONVENTION -

The 2014 CALLERLAB Convention washeld in Sparks, NV (near Reno).  The convention was much more than just a gathering of callers. The Opening Session  featured a motivaltional speaker to give a big "kick start" to the convention with a presentation on "Marketing On A Shoestring".  There were interest sessions for dancers and dance leaders as well.  

The 2014 Convention Schedule provides details of the activities and a description of each interest session. This will provide an insight into what is provided during a CALLERLAB convention. Clck here for The Convention Schedule

Our Calling Schedule


The Canaveral Squars will not be dancing until further notice.  

We call Advanced on Wednesday nights. We dance from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Eau Gallie Civic Center in Melbourne, FL. The center is located at 1551 Highland Avenue, Melbourne. 

We also call a C-1(Workshop) on Friday mornings in the Crane Community Center on Mosswood Drive in Melbourne. Our last session for the 2014/2015 season will be Friday, March 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Crane Center on Mosswood, in Melbbourne, FL
